nola for anta

nola is a pendant light creating a warm and glare free light. the source of light itself remains completely invisible. nola's outer casing and the reflector are both handcrafted by metal spinning. this traditional manufacturing process adds some warmth to the geometric form with the spinning marks still visible. nola made it's debut as a halogen version at the light & building 2008, with a led version following later.

the led version is awarded

'lights of the future 2008'

by the german design council.

the beautiful prototype was made by hugo braeuer metallwaren.
